Matthew 14:1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Emmanuel,

Matthew 14:3 For Herod had laid hold on John and bound him and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

Matthew 14:4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful.(according to the then in effect Mosaic Law:.Leviticus 20:21).for you to have her.

Matthew 14:5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

Matthew 14:6-8 But when Herod's.(Herod Antipas).birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias.(verse 3 above).danced before them and pleased Herod. Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask. And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.(a basket or bowl).
Birthdays have a bad heritage.
Matthew 14:9 And the king was sorry. Nevertheless for the oath's sake and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

Matthew 14:10 And he sent and beheaded John in the prison.

Matthew 14:11 And his head was brought in a charger and given to the damsel and she brought it to her mother.

Matthew 14:12 And his disciples came and took up the body and buried it and went and told Emmanuel.

Matthew 14:13 When Emmanuel heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

Matthew 14:14,15 And Emmanuel went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them and he healed their sick. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place and the time is now past. Send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves victuals.

Matthew 14:16 But Emmanuel said unto them, They need not depart. Give them something to eat. And they say unto him, We have here only five loaves and two fishes.

Matthew 14:18-21 He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass and took the five loaves and the two fishes and looking up to heaven, he blessed.(original is 'gave thanks').and brake and gave the loaves to his disciples and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat and were filled and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Matthew 14:22 And straightway Emmanuel constrained his disciples to get into a ship and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray and when the evening was come, he was there alone,

Matthew 14:24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, for the wind was contrary.

Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Emmanuel went unto them, walking on the sea.
Barnes New Testament Notes: "...they divided the night into four watches, the fourth having been introduced by the Romans. These watches consisted of three hours each. The first commenced at six and continued till nine; the second from nine to twelve; the third from twelve to three and the fourth from three to six. The first was called evening; the second, midnight; the third, cock-crowing; the fourth, morning:.Mark 13:35."
Matthew 14:26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit and they cried out for fear.

Matthew 14:27-30 But straightway Emmanuel spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer. It is I. Be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be you, bid me come unto you on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Emmanuel. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Keep your attention on Christ, so you don't sink in life:.Galatians 2:20; 1Corinthians 16:13; Ephesians 6:10.
Matthew 14:31 And immediately Emmanuel stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, Hey Peter, we'll have to get you a little more faith.
Peter had a faith based on how he normally expressed himself, just not enough of it without Christ to consistently.dispel.doubts.(*).
Matthew 14:32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

Matthew 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped.(meaning in the original of the word 'worship').him, saying, Of a truth you are the Son of God.

Matthew 14:34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
Easton's Bible Dictionary: Gennesaret, also called Chinnereth, means 'a garden of riches'. It is now called el-Ghuweir. Because of its fertility and beauty, the people then called it 'the Paradise of Galilee'. Gennesaret was also a lake called the sea of Galilee and the sea of Tiberias, which was 12 by 7 miles {20 by 11 km} and 700 feet {210m} below the Mediterranean Sea. It was a very lovely and fertile region on the Sea of Galilee (map).
Matthew 14:35,36 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

Matthew 15:1 Then came to Emmanuel scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

Matthew 15:2 Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

Matthew 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Matthew 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother. And, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
Barnes Notes: 'Let him die the death' is a Hebrew phrase, the same as saying, 'let him surely die.' The law (Exodus 20:12; 21:13; Deuteronomy 5:16; Leviticus 20:9) punishes this crime with death. This duty of honoring by obeying a parent was what Christ said they had violated by their traditions. He proceeds to state the way in which it was done in the next verses.
Matthew 15:5,6 But you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free.
Thus have you made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.(your old way of doing things that was of low consciousness).
Comprised with.Barnes New Testament Notes: The law of God followed since ancient days to this time when Emmanuel was on the Earth, had been manipulated according to the greed and deceit of the religious leaders of the day. The original ancient law required that a son should honor his parents and among other things, provide for his wants when he was old and in distress. Yet the Jewish teachers of the day said that it was more important for a man to dedicate his property to God than to provide for the wants of his parent. If he had devoted his property to God (went to the chief priests of their corrupt religion) it could not be used even to the support of a parent in need (such is deceitful crap religion). If a parent was needy and poor, needing assistance, it was just too bad. He got nothing and this was acceptable in the satanic religion of the day, based of greed, not on love. The property could not be recalled and the ageing one's family was not under obligation to aid a parent in need, according to their corrupt laws made from greedful attitudes. Religion concocted by these religious leaders dictated that a more important thing was to be done, that of giving it to their god (meaning them). Any family member's responsibility therefor would not apply. They were told that they were free from obligation in these cases and nothing under the law was required to be done for one's father or mother after this 'giving to god'. The 'gift to god' (the giving up of assets, in this case, property going to the priests) became consecrated to the 'service of the religion', that is, ended up in the pockets of these corrupt ones. These deceitful priests propagated their lies (satanists.never.tell the truth {2Corinthians 11:13}, that's how you can tell who a satanist is (Matthew 7:15-20) and as such, if they got your property and money, it then could not be used in any other way, such as using it to help some older folks needing help. In this way the crooks of religion had complete power over all the possessions of the people and could appropriate them to their own use under the pretense of devoting them to god's religion; same as is tithing today. They thus.deprived the people of their property under the plea that it was consecrated to the true God, but really it was to their satanic god. Thus, the Jewish son deprived his parents of support, because of brainwashing by these corrupt so-called priests who were part of the evil ancient cabal.
Matthew 15:7 You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Matthew 15:8 This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth and honours me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
From Isaiah 29:13.
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines.the commandments of men.

Matthew 15:10,11 And he called the multitude and said unto them, Hear and comprehend. Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man, but that which comes out of the mouth this defiles a man.

Matthew 15:12 Then came his disciples and said unto him, Know you that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Matthew 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, is rooted up.

Matthew 15:14 Let them alone.(Hosea 4:17). They be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the ditch.(*).

Matthew 15:15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

Matthew 15:16 And Emmanuel said, Are you also yet without comprehension?
Another way of saying 'haven't you learned anything yet'? I guess Peter wanted to be sure he got the correct meaning from Christ.
Matthew 15:17 Do not you yet understand.(original word for 'understanding' means 'an inner knowing' or innerstanding, a comprehension, that is, you've learned something), that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly and is cast out into the draught.(toilet or a place where waste products go)?

Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart and they defile the man.
They defile the man or woman who is just stupid enough to accept satanic lies without question: Proverbs 14:12; Matthew 13:15-17.
Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness.(Proverbs 12:17), blasphemies.
Many are way beyond this type of low conscious thinking and just want to be good and do good in their lives, but are still pressured down, as it were, by feelings hard to extricate. So, what to do when one's heart is in his or her shoe?
Matthew 15:20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashen hands defiles not a man.

Matthew 15:21-25 Then Emmanuel went thence and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, you Son of David. My daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she cries after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.(Matthew 10:6). Then came she and worshipped him.(worship means attention; she acknowledged Him in that she knew she could count on help from Him), saying, Lord, help me.

Matthew 15:26 But he answered and said, it is not meet.(not fitting).to take the children's bread and to cast it to dogs..(?)

Matthew 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord, yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

Matthew 15:28 Then Emmanuel answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith..(?).It will be unto you even as you will.(closer to the original 'it will be as you see it in your mind to be' {*}). And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Emmanuel was discovering how great the Father was working in people through him.
Matthew 15:29 And Emmanuel departed from thence and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee and went up into a mountain and sat down there.

Matthew 15:30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed and many others and cast them down at Emmanuel's feet and he healed them,

Matthew 15:31.Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk and the blind to see and they glorified the God of Israel.

Matthew 15:32 Then Emmanuel called his disciples unto him and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

Matthew 15:33-39 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? And Emmanuel said unto them, How many loaves have you? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes and gave thanks and brake them and gave to his disciples and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat and were filled and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. And he sent away the multitude and took ship and came into the coasts of Magdala.
