Mark 13:1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

Mark 13:2 And Emmanuel answering said unto him, See these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Mark 13:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

Mark 13:4,5 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Emmanuel answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you.
This time would be a time of great deceit. Is there great deceit in the world today? Great deceit means that a majority of people have become liars and cheats and one should be alert to such happenings as these.
Mark 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ and shall deceive many.
Many church groups have appropriated the name of Christ.
Mark 13:7-9 And when you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be not troubled, for such things must needs be, but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be Earthquakes in divers places and there shall be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. But take heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to councils and in the synagogues you shall be beaten and you shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake for a testimony against them.

Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
Original for 'nations' is 'all you come across', 'Gentiles'; that is, tell others.(Matthew 9:31; 14:1; Mark 1:28; Luke 4:37; Acts 13:44,47; 19:23}; Romans 1:8; 1John 2:2.the good news you know that they haven't heard before and this would be mostly now the Gentiles, as those of Jewish background knew well the history and story of the Messiah:.Mark 12:14; John 3:1,2.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what you shall speak, neither do you premeditate, but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak you, for it is not you that speak.(comes up with what words to speak; how?), but the Holy Ghost.

Mark 13:12,13 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death and the father the son and children shall rise up against their parents and shall cause them to be put to death. And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake, but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mark 13:14 But when you shall see the abomination of desolation.spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, let him that reads understand, then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains.

Mark 13:15-18 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house. And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. But woe to them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! And pray you that your flight be not in the winter.

Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved, but for the elect's.(who's the elect?).sake, whom he has chosen.(God choses by what He knows is in one's heart and that, even beyond one's sins. Those having given their heart and lives to love {1John 4:8-16}, are therefor 'in Christ'), he has shortened the days.
Always to others, be kind, compassionate, helpful. That's the character we need to move up and away from lower consciousness living.
Mark 13:21-23 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ or lo, he is there, believe him not. For false Christs and false prophets shall rise and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take heed. Behold, I have foretold you all things.

Mark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light,

Mark 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Revelation 6:15,16.
Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect.(who are these 'elect'?).from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the Earth to the uttermost part of heaven.(there are good hearted caring people throughout the multiverse).
Deuteronomy 30:4; Nehemiah 1:9. There are those of humanity needing our help who are on other places like our Earth. Earth is the beginning of a multiversal cleanup of evil. No more evil will exist again in the multiverse and those good will have been moved into a whole new joyful reality of living, the realm of the Creator.
Mark 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

Mark 13:29 So you in like manner, when you shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

Mark 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation will not pass, till all these things be done.
The generation Emmanuel was referring to here was the generation he was in and the generation in which they would occur with increased severity, culminating in His return:.Revelation 6:15,16. The same original Greek word used here for 'generation' is used also in.Matthew 1:17.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Mark 13:33 Take you heed, watch and pray.(keep up with what's going on; be a good watchman for yourself and others).for you know not when the time is.

Mark 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house and gave authority to his servants and to every man his work and commanded the porter to watch.

Mark 13:35 Watch you therefore for you know not when the master of the house comes, at even or at midnight or at the cockcrowing or in the morning.
Matthew 14:45; 1Thessalonians 5:6.
Mark 13:36,37 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
