-What
about the Holy Spirit and "speaking or praying in tongues"?
-What does it mean to be."after
the Spirit".and."in
the spirit"?.Romans
8:1. Also
1Peter 4:6; Luke
1:17; Acts 18:25; Romans
8:9; Galatians 5:16,25; Ephesians
4:23; Philippians 3:3.
The spirit is the heart of
an individual:.Romans
2:29. Being."in
the Spirit".is
having Christ in you,
which provides for an awakened person, because through the
individual's spirit, he is forever.(Hebrews
13:5 "...for he said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.").then
connected to the Father's creation of the
Soul, thus
becoming a member of the
family, evidenced by his attention to the things
of a higher consciousness:.Romans
8:9; 2Corinthians 3:3.
Come to a knowledge of what
'Christ' is. One is then living 'in
His name'. That's how to know you are in God and God in you:.1John
2:5.
When you are sure Christ
is in you, you are sure that
you are righteous:.Romans
10:10,11. You then live this life with that
sureness,
that confidence
base. You live out your life more
from within, the internal, where He abides, than from getting your
information for existing from externals, the experiences that you pass
through as you grow older.
Few if any of us ever see
when our prime
of life is. You may have gone through it and may still be expecting it
to come. In this it's
good
to talk to older people; ask them if they think that you are in your
prime time of life and if you are, make the most of it. How? Ask the Creator.
He'll guide you. Yes He will!
This being sure whether
or not, you are indeed having Christ dwell in you, is most important, and
with a checkpoint continually about you, you can always be sure:.1John
3:16-24 "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his
life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso
has this world's good and sees.(original
denotes {indicates}, 'of one who looks at a thing with interest and for
a purpose'; is aware of).his
brother have need and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how
dwells the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word,
neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we
are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart
condemn us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things. Beloved,
if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever
we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do those
things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That
we should believe on the name of his Son Emmanuel the Christ, and love
one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keeps his commandments.(no
plural in original, and fits better with this verse anyhow; and what
was that commandment).dwells
in him and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit
which he has given us."
Paul listened strongly to
his heart,
knowing that Christ
is there:.Acts
18:5; 19:21; 20:22.
Apollos was fervent.in
the Spirit:.Acts
18:25.
Emmanuel groaned in His Spirit
or, in His heart, where the Spirit of the Father was:.John
11:33.
Walking "in the Spirit"
is walking in love:.Galatians
5:14,16. The word 'walk' in this verse means these things, 'to go about
your concerns with'.(that
is, to know the Holy Spirit is right there with you, in you),
'to use', 'to make use of opportunities'.
The spiritual things of life
lead
one.progressively.(*).into
eternal things, the invisible beyond the physical.
Give attention to the Infinite
Presence.(can't
do this from
the ego level, so if you can, you'll know you are moving
away from the ego level of low consciousness).in
you.(1John
2:27).by
prayer, meditation, Bible study, thinking of what you are learning
and awareness of His presence in you as you live your daily life in truth
as best you comprehend
how to. Develop the unique
expression that is only you.
When you seek for opportunities
to express the wonderful
love the Creator has placed within you, you are, as the Holy Bible
calls it 'walking in the Spirit' and this means you have the
same nature as the family of
Creators:
Romans 8:1,4; Galatians
5:16,25.
Walking in the Spirit comes
from knowing that you are righteous.
How can
you be anything else if the holy nature of the God family is in you?
This is referred to in the Holy Bible as Christ
being in you and you 'being in Christ'. It simply means you have the
same nature, thanks to what
those in the God family have done. This is how we walk worthy of the
Lord:.Colossians
1:10.
The Creator is joined to
you:.1Corinthians
6:17. His nature can be accepted by us to become our nature in
spirit,
soul
and body. His basic nature is love. Start loving
and God is awakened within you. It's that simple.
From the fine book.The
Rest of the Gospel; When the Partial Gospel Has Worn You Out.by
Dan Stone and Greg Smith."You
can't even talk without a body...The total you is involved...God says to
us "I'm going to live in you and other people are going to see you, but
you know it's Me." What this tells us is that we can stop
seeing ourselves as a liability. We can cease thinking that something
more needs to happen to us spiritually before we can be an asset to God.
If we keep focusing upon ourselves
externally, we'll keep thinking 'He can't use me yet'.".If
we focus internally in meditation
we are in God.
We often castigate
ourselves for our humanity, the frailties
we know we still have, feeling that God cannot or will not 'use us', has
left off interest in us, will not ever have His perfect nature be in us
and that He just could not bother to have anything to do with us, etc.,
especially as long as we are so imperfect. Well, cheer
up!
We
have a part in our problems.
So silly
is not realizing this: The Creator can remove any problem from any of us
at any time He so determines or to any degree
of relief that
He determines:.1Corinthians
10:13; 1Thessalonians 2:4.
But they are there for a
reason and part of it is so that we learn to think as God does, in
a
higher consciousness. That's what we are here to learn, so we're ready
for the next step:.1Corinthians
2:9.
Problems
at the ego level enable one
to aspire to
a higher consciousness level. And there is
a key for getting God to act. You are the Infinite
One in expression. If you have problems, you are left with them so
that you can do something about them.(do
what about them?). And another
reason why we are left with them? What
can you do? What else can
you do?
With this knowledge you have
every reason to apply it for your betterment:.1Thessalonians
5:18; Psalms 100:4. Problems
are always leading to a greater you, urging you to get in touch with your
Soul within, showing you that you are not in sync
with it.
To solve any problem, there
are usually three main questions to ask yourself: First, what could I do?
Second, what could I read? And third, whom could I ask?
The real problem is usually
two or three questions deep and can't be solved from the same
level that created it. If you want to go after someone's problem, be
aware that most people aren't going to reveal what the real problem is
after the first question.
Neil Armstrong once said."You
only have to solve two problems when going to the moon: first, how to get
there and second, how to get back. The key is don't leave until you have
solved both problems."
Never attack a problem without
also presenting a solution.
"The best place to solve
a problem is on paper."....Jim

Know that "the old man" is
crucified and no longer serving sin.(missing
the mark, both of love for yourself and others).and
you now focus on that which is inside of you.(Christ).and
the new state of your being that He made possible:.Romans
6:6.
One renews the spirit of
his mind by changing his thinking: Ephesians
4:23. The Creator forces
no one to change his thinking, but he can give one guidance as to how
and cause circumstances
to make one stop dead and turn around in his thinking, as what
happened to Paul. Being stubborn
means having to learn the hard way.
Problems automatically come
because of the level of mind we are in by default.
They come to alert us to a
better way. It's our decision to try the better way to find out if
it is actually so:.Acts
17:11.
Repentance
means a change in thinking, a change of mind, to come to see things differently.(as
singer Johnny Cash did at the end),
meaning to change; mind first and life follows. Repentance is seeing as
Derek did regarding his life, that the direction it was going in was
just not the way he really wanted to live. Listen to what
Dr. Joe Murphy says about it.
But why as life carries on
for each of us, does a change of mind seem to mean more to us later in
life, than earlier? The real true God of all life allows us to live the
things that we'll later want to change from. You always have free
choice. Live your choices in line with wisdom,
so you keep out of trouble. It's better to see such things to avoid that
others may be living and decide not to want to live the same way. That
way in life, you move on, not down. Herein
is wisdom:.Job
28:28; Psalms 34:14; 37:27;
Proverbs
16:6,17.
For example, in.Matthew
21:32 the original word for 'repented' means 'caring', 'care about',
'take care', that is, if one cares about himself or herself they are
awakening to something beyond what
their life has been up to now:.Psalms
32:5 "I acknowledged my sin.(what
is sin?).unto
you and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions
unto
the Lord.(it's
only God that matters regarding
your heart's change, because you never know what someone else may do with
information you tell them if they weren't involved in
the first place; in
other words, it's good to apologize
to those you caused hurt to).and
you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah."
This repentance, this change,
involves preparing one's heart. How
do you do this?
2Chronicles
15:4 "But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of
Israel and sought him, he was found of them."
2Chronicles
12:14 "And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the
Lord."
Changing your mind changes
your life:.Acts
26:20 "...turn to God and do works meet for repentance." 2Peter
3:9 "The Lord is...not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance.".Luke
3:8 "Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance...".
Change from what?
And to what? And for
what?.Luke
13:2-9. And why don't people change and if no change occurs, even after
many
promptings to one's mind that come daily, then what? Psalms
55:19 "God shall hear and afflict them...because they have no changes.(Jeremiah
8:6), therefore they fear.(means
'respect', 'care for').not
God."
Repentance
is a first part of the stage of ongoing spiritual
growth. It is a result of the
Creator having 'called' you to know the ways of love, which is what
God is, love and rise from the gulf of separation.(Luke
16:26).that
separates one from the true God:.1John
4:7-16; 2Timothy 2:25. When
one knows this they have a
relationship with Him, thanks to what Christ
made possible by
what He came to Earth to
do in the body of Emmanuel. Repentance
is part of the conversion
process from ordinary
consciousness to a higher consciousness.
Repentance is not a decision
you make, though you always have a choice to accept or reject it. Repentance
is a gift from the Creator to all
of us now:.Acts
5:31. One doesn't keep using the gift if it's no longer necessary:.Hebrews
6:1. There is a time to move on.
It is a result of
a
decision the Creator has made in your favor. Your decision hopefully
would be that of acceptance of God's gift of repentance, bringing yourself
in contact, by means of your spirit,
with the part of the
Soul He has created that is just for you. The way has now been opened
for you, to accept it, but the Creator never
overrides anyone.
There is a
way to keep the energy flowing to
you from this connection.
How we need to change is
to what we believe God thinks of us, which is much greater than how
we generally think of ourselves. Repentance is more than that of having
done wrong and being sorry for it. Being sorry for one's errors is only
the
beginning point..Matthew
Henry's Commentary:."God's
promises to us are more powerful and effective for mortifying
sin.(what
is sin?), than our promises to
God."
