Psalms 30:1 <A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David.> I will extol thee, O Lord, for you have lifted me up and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.

Psalms 30:2,3 O Lord my God, I cried unto you and you have healed me. O Lord, you have brought up my soul from the grave. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

Psalms 30:5 For his anger endures but a moment. In his favour is life.(in his favor is being aligned with what he is). Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Lamentations 3:22,23.

Psalms 30:6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Psalms 30:11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing. You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.

Psalms 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

And just how would one believe if he or she was like that?

Psalms 31st chapter To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David: In you, O Lord, do I put my trust. Let me never be ashamed. Deliver me in your righteousness.

Verse could also read 'deliver me your righteousness, because righteousness is a gift from God.

Psalms 31:2-4 God bow down your ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be my strong rock for an house of defence to save me. For you arr my rock and my fortress. Therefore for your name's sake lead me and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me, for you are my strength.

Psalms 31:5,6 Into your hand I commit my spirit.(David wrote this Psalm and is saying that in his very deep being, his whole heart's intent is committed to trusting God in life). You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. I have hated them that regard lying vanities.(their ways are abominable; how abominable were their ways?.Jeremiah 16:12), but I trust in the Lord..

David came to see how very kind God is:.Psalms 26:3 "Because of your lovingkindness I am firmly established in truth."

Psalms 31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy, for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities.

Psalms 31:8-14 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy. For thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy. Thou hast set my feet in a large room. Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble. Mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly. For my life is spent with grief and my years with sighing. My strength fails because of mine iniquity and my bones are consumed. I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours and a fear to mine acquaintance. They that did see me without fled from me. I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind. I am like a broken vessel, for I have heard the slander of many and fear was on every side. While they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. But I trusted in thee, O Lord. I said, Thou art my God.

Psalms 31:15 My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies and from them that persecute me.

Psalms 31:16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant. Save me for thy mercies' sake.

Psalms 31:17 Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee. Let the wicked be ashamed and let them be silent in the grave.

Psalms 31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Psalms 31:19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for them that fear you, which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men!

Psalms 31:20 You shalt hide them in the secret of your presence from the pride of man. You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Psalms 31:21 Blessed be the Lord, for he has showed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.

Psalms 31:22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes. Nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

Psalms 31:23 O love the Lord, all you his saints, for the Lord preserves the faithful and plentifully rewards the proud doer.

Psalms 31:24 Be of good courage and he shall strengthen.(Isaiah 35:4).your heart, all you whose hope is in God.
