1John
4:7 says if you love, you are born of the Creator and know Him, like,
you were born of your parents and know that you are of them. Is there someone
or others that you love? Well, you know Creator; you may not know all about
Him, but you don't even know all about those whom you care for and you
still love them.
Everyone is always changing
as life goes along. Changes to the status
quo occur constantly, especially so as circumstances hit us, making
us do some deep thinking. If only we used wisdom
beforehand to have altered our life's path. But, some of us are not
discontented enough with the present to put forth solid effort in new directions.
We wait for life to happen, not realizing that life is happening to us
all the time. It's better to be part of what's making life happen, than
simply reacting to what is happening.
Just when man thinks he's
got it down pat, watch
out. Look at thalidomide, fluoride,
vioxx,
vaccinations
and many things proclaimed
safe; the 'unsinkable' ship Titanic.(and
how
a novel provided a warning
over a decade earlier), the 'unburnable'
arena in Chicago, McCormick Place, that burnt to the ground, the unsinkable
Ocean Ranger oil extraction platform, the invincible Spanish
Armada out to attack England, people that
proclaim themselves the greatest.(Mussolini,
etc.):.Psalms

Proverbs
29:25; 1Corinthians
3:19 "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it
is written.(from
Job
5:12-14; Jeremiah 8:9),
He takes the wise in their own craftiness." 1Corinthians
1:19 "For it is written.(Job
5:13), I will destroy the wisdom
of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
Man tends to trust in the
things of his strength and not so much in the all powerful God. God sometimes
has to awaken man to the power of God, as
God did in the life of ancient Gideon and there are many other examples
as well.
But you know the most important
part:.1John
4:8. Bet you didn't know that you're closer to the Creator than you
thought you were? Bet you didn't know either that you're now incorruptible,
that is, if you have accepted Christ
into your experience, your heart?
1Peter
1:22,23 "Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth.(what
truth?.1John
5:1 and 1John 2:29, just below).through
the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, so see that you love one
another with a pure heart fervently.(be
hot!). Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives
and abides for ever.".Yep!
You are now squeaky clean in the Creator's eyes and will forever be that
way. As long as He's there, you are incorruptible:.1Peter
1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which lives
and abides for ever." And He'll always be
there, forever. And you too!

2:29 "If you know.(it's
something you know, something that you are sure of).that
he is righteous, you know that every one that does righteousness
is born of him."
A better translation would
be:.'If you know.(are
sure).that
His
righteousness be in
you, you also know that every person that acquires
righteousness.(the
gift of it:.Romans
5:17).is
born of Him'.(and
therefore are your brothers and sisters)..John
13:15 "For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have
done to you.".(Christ
lived an example of love)
And how do you do or acquire
the gift of righteousness John, in his epistles.(letters).is

Righteousness is a gift from
the Great Infinite One to us. This gift enables us to have a relationship
with this Great God, because the Creator only deals with equals and He
has made us equal in nature with Him. So, abide
in the light of being free from all that previously held you in
bondage.
The Infinite One is brilliantly
pure, holy, righteous and extremely powerful:.Acts
1:8 "But you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come
upon you..." Anything not as pure, holy and
as righteous as He is, dies in His presence.
So, by making us an equal
member of the
Creator's family, His impeccable.nature
can dwell in 'imperfect' us?
When you do righteousness,
once you decide to express the new righteous nature you now have, you have
then decided to be in daily living what would not be of this nature; like
cheating, lying.(lying,
as understood by the scriptures),
being an angry, obnoxious
and resentfully
hateful type of person, being selfishly
concerned, like - 'me first, screw you' type of person, not seeking
to have.unfair.advantage.(to
another's detriment).over
another.
It is the righteousness of
belief. See the following and note especially the 'belief' words as they

1:16,17; 3:22;
4:6;
10:6-15.
Christ.(what
does 'Christ' mean?).is
your righteousness if you do believe that His nature
is
indeed in you:.1Corinthians
1:30.(note
the words "made unto us").
Paul is telling us to awake
to righteousness.(a
new day, a new life for you – awake by thinking about these things daily
until you really get it).and
sin not.(sin
in the original Greek is 'to miss the mark').
Do not allow your mind to cause you to miss the mark of your righteousness
by not taking time in your life to think over scriptures about the subject
of righteousness. Turn off the #$*? TV! And stop wasting the
time of your life talking about
nothing in particular with others. Make your time count. Awake to the
future. Get a great reward.
