-Matthew
11:11.Why
does this scripture say that none was greater than John the Baptist? I
thought Emmanuel would have been
greater?
John
the Baptist was."born
of a woman".
Emmanuel was too, but really
He was the.only.begotten
of God up to the time of His physical birth:.John
1:14 "And the Word was made
flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth."
John
1:18, "No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which
is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him." John
3:16-18;
1John 4:9 "In this was
manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten
Son into the world, that we might live
through him."
-Revelation
19:10.Why
is."the testimony
of Emmanuel the spirit of prophecy"? What
does all that mean?
Testimony
means to express a strong belief; to make a statement based on personal
knowledge in support of an
asserted
fact; to bear witness.(example,
the exhilaration
of weightlessness, to which many astronauts have testified);
to witness, which means to give a first hand account of something:.1John
5:10.
And what
did Emmanuel testify of?
When John
wrote this he was on the isle
of Patmos, an island to which he was banished by the Roman Emperor
Domitian in 95 A.D. It was here that he received from God the revelation
recorded in the book he wrote, the Book of Revelation:.Revelation
1:9;.2Peter
1:20,21 "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of
any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the
will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
Revelations come from God
through true prophets.
So, the strong
belief in Emmanuel is what allows the Holy Spirit to guide you into inner
sensing, or 'seeing', 'feeling' what is to come for you and others.
Strong belief
in Emmanuel.(who
He was, why He came to Earth, etc.).produces
this guidance which is an aspect
of the righteousness of Creator-God in you:.Romans
8:4.
-Revelation
12:17 What are the commandments being talked of here?
See Romans
8:4 and follow through.
-2Peter
1:7 What does he mean."charity".here?
The original Greek word
for."charity".is
"agape" and the original for the word."kindness".in
this same verse is."philadelphia".being
the Greek word used to describe a love not as deep as the relationship
type of love that the word agape denotes.
Philadelphia has to do with
love of family members such as dad, mom, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle
and friends, pets, etc. Philadelphia basically means brotherly love.
And of course, we have the
other Greek word for love 'eros',
meaning sexual love or, sexual expression of one's love to whatever degree
one is able to feel and express it from their heart.
-2Peter
1:9 Why have we been purged from sin?
Luke
1:17.
-Matthew
6:34 What does it mean."sufficient
unto the day is the evil
thereof"?
Every day brings its own
concerns, things that must presently be dealt with. Being apprehensive
over what may come is foolish and robs you of any joy
you could now experience.
This often ensnaring, worrisome,
disquieting, distracting, distrustful attitude robs the poor as much as
the love of wealth does the rich. For sure, take care of what your daily
concerns may be. Just do not abandon your heart to be slaughtered by the
'worry demon'.
We are in the Creator's heart,
His mind, His arms and our life is first and foremost in His hands. Do
not be anxious for the future, how you shall live next year or when you
are old or what you shall leave behind you.
Is there anything God cannot
do for us?....please
