-Romans 14:17 talks of joy, rejoicing in the Holy Ghost. How can I get more joy into my life?

When you have joy, you have strength:.Nehemiah 8:10 ".....the joy of God is your strength."

James 1:2 "...count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations."

Also, to become happy, make others happy. All humans are one

In fact, the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost is the storehouse where one's supply of the things of the spirit come from, that is, the things that are spiritual and from there comes strength for living.

How can I make others happy? Happiness is an aspect of love and includes cheerfulness, enjoying, showing and appreciating living, being pleased with life, satisfied, possessing contentment and joy:.James 1:2-4 "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

From happiness comes kindness. Being kind to others is a key to contributing to happiness, but know this and this.

No matter how bad things are, believe the Creator is in charge of it all. God is! Happiness is trusting that God is always there, active and always for your benefit, but don't accept that statement without proving God indeed is real and that nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible with God

Joel 1:12 "The vine is dried up and the fig tree languishes, also  the pomegranate tree, the palm tree and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field are withered, because joy is withered away from the sons of men.".It's no wonder many people look as if they have no strength for living; the walking dead!

2Samuel 22:33 "God is my strength and power and he makes my way perfect."

Psalms 18:32 "It is God that girds me with strength and makes my way perfect."

Isaiah 40:29-31 "He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint."

1John 1:4 "And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full."

Every day is the happiest day of your life when you have no regrets and no expectations which could disappoint you. Just leave it all up to your soul's connecton with the Infinite One to work out. How do you leave it all to your soul to work out?.Psalms 144:15; 146:5.

We are not here to pursue happiness. We are here to learn so that we progress as we live our lives into a better man, woman or child. We need to learn to place within us and act from high consciousness principles.

"When you are happy you just are happy and are not thinking about it. Thinking you're happy can break the spell. Happy people don't start wars, do torture or develop weapons to kill."....Deepak Chopra. Those who do such things are of a very low consciousness of darkness, not realizing the dark side that's behind them. They just keep cutting themselves off from the advantages they could have. Nor do happy people sabotage others, take advantage of them.or hurt them in any way, either physically, emotionally or financially.

The ego is the source of seriousness accompanied with unhappiness. The invisible universe is not at all this way.

It has powers way above humanity's measly ego manipulations.

People waste so much time judging this, judging that, they miss present awareness

Be sure that you are growing in the truth that higher consciousness can take you into:.3John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."

For you and your life become that which you are seeking.

Once you decide to believe.(to accept as true), then also decide to be happy. To become a happy person, decide to make others happy and work at it. Like love, happiness, one of love's attributes does only good, can only do good. That's how you can tell if someone loves, cares and is genuinely concerned about you:.Romans 13:10. Meditate on just the word 'happy' or whatever word of higher consciousness that resonates with you at any particular time. Why? Have a single minded purpose that you decide will be unchangeable:.Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I change not...".That is, He is love and changes not from that:.1John 4:8,16.

Your life is your decisions! There is no place to go to be happy, no 'way' to be happy; just that happiness is the way that occurs when one is aligned with the love purpose of the universe. And when that happens, this happens

Why are true people of God happy? They are happy because they have a clean slate with God; because their future is secure; because they know they are being looked after here and now and they are living from the consciousness of the higher realm.

Happiness is an increasing general state of one's life constituted  by positive surroundings and events interpreted as being harmonious with what one senses from his soul and which positive things bear upon one's daily presence here on Earth.

Joy, on the other hand, is a continuous inward feeling of contentment and confidence from energy that comes from the Soul:.John 17:13; 1Peter 1:8. When one is sure of some things.(what things?.1, 2), he or she grows in those high consciousness things of the Soul, by allowing them through wanting them to come into your soul and affect your life for good. This increasingly sluffs off negative productions of one's ego.

Wisdom in action involves decisions based upon that which is true. Weakened wisdom is based upon that which one may believe to be true, which belief in actual fact may have little truth to it. The difference between which affects you depends upon the amount of importance one places upon wisdom.

There is a path that will lead you to living joyfully, a path leading you deeper and deeper into that 'unspeakable joy':.1Peter 1:8.

Emotion follows thought, so consider some things that could be good for you, instead of rehashing reasons that make you unhappy, which is deadly to your personality and any hoped for future results from decisions. If you don't know where you're going, how can God know where to take you to be happy?.Psalms 25:12.

A sad person will lack creativity. Enthusiasm has been said to make a large difference in one's outlook.."We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all we need to make us really happy is something rock solid.(like the sureness the Creator is real!).to be enthusiastic about.(what is your passion?)."....Charles Kingsley, English novelist and clergyman.

Galatians 5:26 "Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another." Galatians 6:8 "For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." Galatians 6:14 "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Emmanuel the Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me and I unto the world."

The words 'joy' and 'rejoice' are synonyms. 1John 1:3,4 tells us that our joy will be full in a relationship with God. Does that mean we should not seek a partner in life as some think?

The grand essentials for happiness in life are: something useful to be doing.(Matthew 25:34-45), someone to love and something to hope for that one works toward:.Titus 2:13. What happiness is not. And why few 'find' it.

What if one is dogged by fear?.1Peter 3:13,14.

Does this sound like a person who figures his sins have shut God away from him?.1Peter 1:8,9; Romans 14:17

Joy enabled Emmanuel to go through what He did:.Hebrews 12:2. Joy is what our Creator wants us to have:.John 17:13 ".....that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves".John 15:11,12; 16:24.

Joy is one of the things the Holy Spirit produces:.Galatians 5:22. It is through believing that joy is increased:.Romans 15:13 "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in.(original is 'in', 'through', or 'by').believing..."

Our joy is in the Creator and why:.Romans 5:11.
Joy is our strength and protection as the original Hebrew has it:.Nehemiah 8:10 ".....for the joy of the Lord is your strength."
1Peter 3:13,14.

The Creator takes nothing away that's good. Abounding in hope produces the joy which comes when you are sure about things regarding you and our Creator:.Romans 15:13

Also, when you are sure of your reward and sure of living eternally, then all fears and guilt evaporate. Great burdens are gone:.Matthew 11:28-30. This too is a part of joy.

Sadness comes from things regarding this life.(1Corinthians 15:19).such as unfulfilled expectations, worry over what has occurred, might yet occur and what is now happening that may affect you adversely. More.

-Romans 12:14 Why."bless those who persecute us".and how?

Because you see the bigger overall picture of the Creator's purpose for all humanity throughout all ages and are growing in depth of understanding and application of the love of Christ.(Ephesians 3:17-19).and you understand that this created world is a stage for the performing and growing spiritually of our lives.
    And how?

-Joshua 24:19 Why did Joshua say this so different from what all I've know about God from the Bible?

Please read the context, specifically verses that follow this one. It should become clear.

-1Corinthians 11:14  Why does Paul say this about a man having long hair?

Comprised with.Adam Clarke's Commentary by Gary Gallant:.The ancient Nazarites let their hair grow, but it was as a token of humiliation and it is possible that Paul had this in view. There were consequently two reasons why the apostle should condemn this practice 1) Because it was a sign of humiliation; 2) Because it was womanish. It is a certain fact that a man’s long hair renders him contemptible and a woman’s long hair renders her more amiable..Family New Testament Notes:."As God has made a distinction between men and women, nature and common-sense teach that in their appearance it should be duly observed."

Paul in this verse in 1Corinthinans 11:14 is saying that what people think, is important. Be aware of what they regard as commonsense and avoid offence:.1Corinthians 10:32. Paul followed his own advice:.Acts 24:16 "And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God and toward men.".Paul used psychology when talking to a group of Pantheists.
Wearing long hair was contrary to the custom both of the Hebrews and Greeks.

God looks on the heart. God is spirit, energy that has intelligence. We don't completely understand this yet, except that we know that in all expressive manifestations of this energy, such as humanity being but one expression of it, there is an intelligence to them all whether it's an ant, an antelope, water or the planets, a programming or pattern that comes with them, so they can do or be what it is that they were formed to do.

Outward appearance is important to people and their feelings on things should be taken into consideration. If we are to fulfill our destiny, that of being equal with God, this Great Infinite Intelligence, Who is love, then we too should be loving. One way to be loving is to consider the feelings of others.

Emmanuel said regarding paying tribute and taxes:.Matthew 17:24-27 "And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money.(collected for the service of the temple and was completely voluntary; it was a voluntary temple tax until Vespasian, A.D. 9-79. Emperor of Rome who ruled Rome 69-79 and brought prosperity to the empire, reformed the army, was a patron of the arts and began the building of the Colosseum; he took this tax which was for the temple and used it for the use of the Roman government).came to Peter and said, Does not your master pay tribute? He said, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Emmanuel prevented.(stopped him in the hallway as he came into the house).him, saying, What do you think Simon? of whom do the kings of the Earth take custom.(taxes).or tribute? of their own children.(immediate family).or of strangers.(those not of the family)? Peter said unto him, Of strangers. Emmanuel said unto him, Then are the children free.(taxes weren't required of the sons of the kings). Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go to the sea and cast an hook and take up the fish that first comes up and when you have opened his mouth, you'll find a piece of money. That take and give unto them for me and you."

James and Paul too were concerned not do anything to offend:.James 3:2 "For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man and able also to bridle the whole body." 1Corinthians 10:32,33 "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."

1Corinthians 8:13 "Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world stands, lest I make my brother to offend."
Romans 14:15-20 "But if your brother be grieved with your meat, now walk you not charitably.(charity was the word for love in those days). Destroy not him with your meat, for whom Christ died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace and things wherewith one may edify another. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for that man who eats with offence."
