Emmanuel.(spelled with an 'I' in the Old Testament, 'Immanuel').means 'God with us'. Jesus means 'savior'. Christ means 'anointed'. Christ was anointed to save all humanity.

In Emmanuel's name means all He is.(Philippians 2:9).and above all, He is love. He has the ability to perform:.Luke 24:47; John 1:12; 2:23; 3:18. We are saved by His life:.Romans 5:10. He is right next to the head of the God family:.Isaiah 45:22 "Look unto me and be you saved, all the ends of the Earth, for I am God and there is none else."

When you come in someone's name, you come with full 'power of attorney':.John 10:25 with Matthew 11:27; Luke 10:22; John 3:35; 5:20; 13:3; 15:15; 16:15; Romans 11:36. 

When we believe in Emmanuel's name, we believe in all that name connotes.

About asking or doing something in the name of Emmanuel.
