P e r f e c t  Q u e s t i o n s

-If Emmanuel was already perfect, why does it say in Hebrews 2:10 that God had to make Him perfect through sufferings?

-If we are perfect, why does Paul call himself imperfect as in.Romans 7:8-25 and Philippians 3:12,15?

Paul was like us. We see our imperfections. However, God does not! Not any more! He sees only the perfection of your nature of love in you made possible by what Christ came and did for all humanity.

As far as the Father, the Great Infinite One, is concerned, regarding your perfection:.Romans 4:17.

Christ will ensure that:.John 14:16,18; Hebrews 7:25; 13:5; Jude 1:1; Matthew 28:20. In the Father's eyes you are considered equal with Christ:.Philippians 2:5,6.

Our work is to persuade our hearts to think of ourselves as the Father does and to help others as best we can,. As we do this we get good at the art of loving.

We are Christ's workmanship.to the extent that we allow His working in us:.1Thessalonians 3:13 "To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God our Father toward the coming of our Lord Emmanuel the Christ with all his saints."

We are now to become holy in all manner of conduct.(1Peter 1:15,16), to mirror the perfection our Creator has placed us in, thanks to the gift of Christ:.Ephesians 4:12-16.

We all need to grow up into what Christ revealed about life in this spiritual kingdom, that its primary overriding energy of expression is that of love:.Hebrews 5:13; 6:1; Ephesians 4:13,15. That is where the reward comes from.

Paul saw his weaknesses:.Romans 7:14-25. Paul also knew his strength was in Christ:.2Corinthians 10:4; Ephesians 6:10; 2Timothy 2:1.

It is from this completeness in Christ that our life's actions are expressed to the extent we become aware, aware through prayer, study and thinking:.Colossians 2:10 "And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.".Matthew 28:18-20.
