Verse
15 with verse 18 of the second chapter advises us that loving the things
of the world.(as
many Christians do and show by their lack of actions
to help others).is
denying the great commandment of love.(1John
2:7-11).and
because their lives are a lie, makes them anti Christ:.1John
2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denies that Emmanuel is the Christ?
He is antichrist that denies the
Father and the Son."
That is one reason why too
many spiritual persons seem
weird, have personality splits and appear aberrant.
They lack the life, the reality
of living that comes only by being
in Christ's nature of love, by knowing
for sure that one is totally acceptable now and forever to the Father
thanks to Emmanuel the Christ. This is where real living is:.John
6:63; 4:13,14;
10:10.
Real living involves using the laws of the universe God designed in such
a way as to
bring you your heart's desires. Deep inside us, everyone wants to live
and live eternally. That's
probably the basic desire of each of us.
You now have a new heart,
a good heart:.Ezekiel
36:26; 18:31; 33:11.
David wanted a new clean
heart:.Psalms
51:10.
The Creator
cleans us up.(*).
How does one deny the Father
and the Son?.Titus
1:16 "They profess that they know God, but in works they deny him,
being abominable and disobedient and unto every good work reprobate."
In lack of outgoing works
of love toward others they deny Him. In abundance of selfish
works He is denied. These know little if anything, about the works
for a reward, preferring instead the opiate
of a selfish existence:.2Timothy
2:3,4 "You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Emmanuel
the Christ. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this
life; that he may please
him who has chosen him to be a soldier."
Such are they whose lives
reflect a state of unbelief regarding their reward:.2Corinthians
6:14-17 "Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For
what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion
has light with darkness? And what concord has Christ with Belial?
Or what part has he that believes with an infidel? And what agreement hath
the temple of God with idols? For
you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in
them and walk in them; and I will be their
God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come
out from among them and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not
the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
What does
Timothy.say
about becoming affected by the
prevalence of selfishness in the world?
"Keeping His commandment(s)".in
these chapters in the book of 1st John has to do with whether or not you
love.(backed
up with actions).and
in this case talking about our spiritual brothers and sisters. Some did
not:.1John
2:19 "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had
been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us. But they went out,
that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." 1John
3:9-11 "Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed
remains in him; and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God. In this the children
of God are manifest and the children
of the devil. Whosoever does not righteousness
is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother. For this is the message
that you heard from the beginning.(1John
2:7-11), that we should love one
another."
1John 3:14 "We know that
we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.(others
on the spiritual path that are sincere).
He that loves not his brother abides in death." 1John
4:5-11 "They are of the world. Therefore speak they of the world and
the world hears them. We are of God. He that knows God hears us. He that
is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the
spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God;
and.every
one that loves is born of God and knows God. He that loves not knows
not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward
us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we
might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that
he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation
for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."
1John
4:20,21 "If a man say, I love God and hates his brother.(one
example),
he is a liar. For he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can
he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment have we from him,
That he who loves God love his brother
also." 1John 5:1-3 "Whosoever believes
that Emmanuel is the Christ is born of God.
And every one that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten
of him.(other
true spiritual people). By this we
know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.(1John
2:5-11; 2John 1:5,6).
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments
are not grievous." 1John 5:21 "Little
children, keep yourselves from
idols. Amen."
A definition of truth:.Isaiah
43:1-9 shows truth is believing God. When you believe God, you are
in the truth. To know the truth, the things of God, one needs God's Holy
Nature of love as the scriptures in 1st John have shown:.1Corinthians
2:11 "For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man
which is in him? Even so the
things of God knows no man, but the Spirit
of God."
And this will lead you into
deeper truth:.John
16:13 "Howbeit when he.(original
can just as easily mean 'it'), the
Spirit of truth, comes.(was
yet to come at this time back then),
he.(or
it).will
guide you into all truth. For he.(or
'it').does
not speak of.(original
'from').himself.(or
itself), but whatsoever is heard.(what
is heard {how is it heard by us?} from
the invisible Creator is always
that of love), that is what is
told and declared to come." 1Corinthians
2:13. This is talking of the subconscious, where what it has received
from a person's thoughts, is formed in the invisible and then comes into
the physical world. What it hears from you, is what wiil be declared. This
is how we end up reaping what
we have sown, and why it is critically important to always be on the
qui
vive regarding your thoughts.
The truth involves your
state of righteousness in Him:.Ephesians
4:21 "If so be that you have heard him and have been taught by him,
as the truth is in Emmanuel."
The truth involves us being
sure that we are indeed 'in Him'. The truth involves the Holy Spirit being
in you:.John
14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom
the world cannot receive, because it sees him.(or
'it').not,
neither knows him.(or
'it'). But you know him.(or
'it'); for he.(or
'it').dwells
with you and shall be in you.(or
'through you').".The
truth involves your works of love which gain for you a great reward.
We walk in truth.(2John
1:4;
3John 1:4).when
we live with Him foremost in our hearts.
To
be sure you are in the truth of the Creator.
We should be studying because
through ignorance we can be alienated
from God:.Ephesians
4:18.
