Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

The devil gets her to agree to a truth she knew, in order to open the door for the lies the devil would associate with it. Today it's the same. People have swallowed up the vaccine lies, one being, they are proven safe, fully tested, they wouldn't do anything to harm you, only to make you fully protected from the harm of disease, for one lies and other many lies. People not aligned with God just can't see through the nonsense and always are looking beyond. They lack commonsense and wisdom.

Genesis 3:2,3 And the woman said unto the serpent.(the devil was able to 'suck her in' to a conversation), We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.(it was not believing what God said that brought death to humanity). 

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die.

In Eve's mind she was probably thinking 'death right away', but the devil knew it would be eventual death, such as what we have today as the results of his tricks and poisonings. The devil got her mind off her ultimate eternal future, she having been duped by the devil into thinking about her life at that time.

Genesis 3:5 For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil.

That is, God is keeping something from you, that is, 'you'll be wiser and able to tell when your getting off track, so you can keep yourself on the right side, I'll bet God didn't tell that to you Eve and that's because God is dishonest in keeping things from you because He doesn't want you to be as He is'. 

The devil appeals to her ego, getting her to believe that she'll be better and greater than she now is. Is that why women keep trying all kinds of makeup and dressups? Is that why people get duped by authorities they have trusted:.Luke 8:43,44.

Be aware of the contrasts of life, as compared to just 'being'. Avoid accepting life as it is and not doing anything about it, trusting it's all of God.(*), which it is. But God knows the place evil plays in our hearts and we need to as well?

God knew the downward pull of negative thinking (page 43, Esoterical Teachings) and negative self-belief and that if humanity believed in it or bit into it, lies would become truth:.Isaiah 5:20. Then man would be blinded and cut off from seeing his true state of Being, his connection with God within, thus alienating himself from the knowledge of the Supreme Being.

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree to be desired to make one wise.(original also means 'prosper', 'success' {life will go better in all ways, etc.}), she took of the fruit thereof and did eat and gave also unto her husband.(on word 'husband').with her and he did eat.

She was sold on all the good things the lying devil presented to her and so she talked her husband also into it; "you should also take what this tree has produced, so you'll be as smart as me".

Genesis 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened and they knew that they were naked.(before this {Genesis 2:25} they regarded each other as one unit, one in outlook, purpose and pleasure; now they knew there was separation, that each was different and it was strange to them).and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons.

It became a mental thing of distrust, a being not sure of the other and a looking into the other to see how this was so.

They made some clothes for themselves, hardly adequate for the climate outside the garden. God made them clothes for that:.Genesis 3:21.

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God.(when they were).walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

Genesis 3:9 And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where are you?

Genesis 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden and I was afraid, because I was naked and I hid myself. 

Genesis 3:11 And he said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded you that you should not eat?

Adam and Eve had a different attitude in them once they ate of some food from a specific tree, as their ego had now been activated.

Genesis 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat.

Genesis 3:13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that you have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me and I did eat.

Everybody blames somebody or something else when they are out of touch with the presence of all that is. Another example:.John 4:15-21.

Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle.(original for 'you are cursed above all cattle' is 'you are to be as a beast').and above every beast.(original 'living thing').of the field. Upon your belly shall you go and dust shall you eat all the days of your life.

"dust shall you eat":.Clarke's Commentary:."Though formerly possessed of the faculty to distinguish, choose and cleanse food, you shall feed henceforth all the days of your life on dust.".Barnes Notes:."Other animals have at least feet to elevate them above the dust. The serpent tribe does not have even feet. Other animals elevate the head in their natural position above the soil. The serpent lays its head naturally on the sod and therefore may be said to eat the dust, as the wounded warrior may bite the dust in death. The Earthworm is probably included in the description here given of the serpent group. It goes upon its belly and actually does eat the dust."

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed.('her seed' refers to the entire human race {verse 20 below}; so there is this enmity, where the dark side is always out to get at you in any way it can {that's its purpose} and this purpose plays out through others susceptible to its influence; this is called the stuggle of life; why the struggle?); it shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.

The dark side will affect your mind by influencing the low consciousness of man which is susceptible to such influence; 'you shall bruise his heel' refers to once a person is in the high consciousness of the Creator, it hinders the influence of the dark side, until the dark side is all gone (2Thessalonians 2:7) and the quicker this will be with more of us becoming spiritual.

Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will multiply your sorrow and conception.(women like to have babies). In sorrow.(pain in childbirth).you shall bring forth children and your desire shall be to your husband.(looking to the man for support).and he shall rule over you.(because the woman had taken the lead in the transgression).

Eve screwed herself out of her own access to the power of the Infinite One by not following her inner feelings which were connected to God and by seeking something she became convinced could be better, that of her own way for herself. And, so humanity starts off with sadness because Adam and Eve just didn't believe God in what God said about the tree. It must have been so sorrowful for them both when one of their kids murdered the other one:.Genesis 4:8. 

Believing God is so important. The whole story of the Bible is about believing God. So, because Adam and Eve took action on what they thought was best.(Proverbs 14:12), they ended up as they did and God dealt with them as He did in verses 16,17.."desire shall be to your husband".in the original is 'desire shall be to man', that is she'll be dependent on man for support and help and in this way the man will rule over her to her good, if he's a good man, because she on her own, being easily influenced by crackpot ideas, screwed up her chances.

Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because you have hearkened unto the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it, cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil shall you eat of it all the days of your life;

Not an easy life for man trying to support a woman and family, but it was Adam's free choice that got him where he was.

Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground, for out of it were you taken, for dust you are and to dust you return.

God was telling Adam, look, this is all you're going to get out of your life on Earth now, because you didn't believe me. After this we don't ever again see any conversation between God and Adam, God leaving him and Eve alone to live out their lives with their choices. 

We read of Adam's death (Genesis 5:5), but nothing more of Eve. God didn't forsake Adam and Eve, they forsook God. God never forsakes anyone:.Hebrews 13:5. But many have forsaken God throughout the ages:.Jeremiah 44:16,17.

Barnes Notes: Man's purposes, his schemes, his plans, his purposes of conquest and ambition, cease, his schemes for becoming rich or great, his plans of building a house and laying out his grounds and enjoying life, his design of making a book or taking a journey or giving himself to ease and pleasure, they all cease at this time:.Luke 12:13-21. It's what one does during his life that counts. How does it count?

Emmanuel was showing in Luke, that there was something much greater for him and that he should have his mind on that so he can receive it. All the other things, the physical things of the physical life here, ultimately won't matter, because being on the Earth is a school to learn what the low consciousness of man is, how it has affected you and what can be done about it. Learn how to move into the higher consciousness one needs to live forever.

Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve.(means 'life').because she was the mother of all living.

Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothed them.

Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live for ever..(?)

Genesis 3:23,24 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

All his life from now, Adam and Eve would know they had made a wrong turn. And so now their life would be one of struggles.
