From negatives being
the trials of life, the unwanted things in our lives, we move into the
realm of the Holy Spirit, the holy loving
nature of the Great Infinite One and here in this new attitude, overcoming
the negatives and qualifying for a great reward.
The biggest battle in our
lifes is battling the self against
all
that is contrived to pull you down. And, we would never wage this war
if all was continuously going in accordance with our wishes and thus,
we would be avoiding the opportunity for character
development:.Revelation
3:18. If we did, we would easily deprive
ourselves of the character of our ideals being continuously comforting
to us, where contentment is. But, sometimes our
trials seem like a bit much and this because it's easier to allow oneself
to drift down the stream than it is to swim up it. Remember the efforts
of salmon swimming upstream.
We just would never alter
our planned life's course without being driven onto a different one. Nobody's
life turns out how they planned, with all the pieces of a self made puzzle
fitting. Life throws us too many curves for that perfect outcome each of
us individually would prefer.
We can only bring into our
lives what we believe to be true, whether what we have had an affinity
with in our thoughts is good or bad. We all become forced to choose between
options, some of which we would rather avoid.
See 'Compassion'
for some character things to change that may be hindering compassion from
developing within your heart.
It is important to
continue in the word of God:.John
8:31. In
spite of the trials we go through, we will be free.(verse
32), free of that which tends to
get us down.(one
of the devil's tricks), as we look
forward in belief of things that are promised
us:.Titus
2:13; Philippians 3:13;
2Peter
3:13.
-Should
we correct others when we see them doing wrong?
-If Christ suffered for
us.(1Peter
2:21;
Hebrews 5:8),
why are we to also suffer for His sake as it says in:.Philippians
1:29 "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to
believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.".And.1Peter
2:21 "For even hereunto were you called, because Christ also suffered
for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps."
The word 'suffer' here in
the original is 'to learn through experience', as Emmanuel
also did; doesn't mean to have the same experiences He had:.Hebrews
2:10; and more
on word 'suffer' here.
Some religious people interpret
these
scriptures on suffering to mean that they too
should follow Emmanuel's example of it.
But, why do people go through
so many hurts in life? People today have the same low consciousness as
those of old did. They did not want Creator-God in their lives:.Jeremiah
44:16,17; Ezekiel 39:29.
They wanted to find out for themselves what worked for them, but
their
quest never
worked back then nor does it today:.Proverbs
14:12; Romans 1:28. They wanted
not God's ways, but the ways of a
human leader and so we are much the same today and have all the
problems we have because of it.
He also suffered in the painful
sense, having gone through being crucified.
I would translate.Philippians
1:29: 'For unto you is given the grace of God through Christ to now
experience
life through His eyes';.in
other words; with Him
in you.
In Hebrews
5:8, the word 'obedient' means 'to hearken too', to
hear' and the word 'suffered' means 'to experience'.
Paul says here that the 'suffering
for his sake' involved a conflict.
What was that?.Romans
7:15. The outcome of Paul's 'suffering' or 'experiences' was a closer
relationship with the Father, not to mention the opportunities therein
for
a great reward.
Having differences
with the self.(James
1:8), causes sorrow:.Ecclesiastes
8:14 "There is a vanity which is done upon the Earth, that there be
just men, unto whom it happens according to the work of the wicked; again,
there be wicked men, to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous.
I said that this also is vanity."
It is difficult for some
to give up that which has been the basis of emotional and psychological
sustenance for years, which are the ideas and concepts that have enabled
us to survive this long in the world. It can be disconcerting
depending upon the amount of trust we have in God at any particular time.
But all things do indeed
work for the good:.2Corinthians
7:10,11 "For Godly sorrow works repentance to salvation.(a
change in your mind, so that you can be saved from all the things negative
that were necessary to bring you to where you now are).not
to be repented of.(a
person will not later wish that he had not made the decision to have the
Infinite One's loving nature replace his normal selfish nature),
but the sorrow of the world works death.(starts
taking one down the river of no
return). For behold this selfsame
thing, that you sorrowed after a Godly sort, what carefulness it wrought
in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves.(1Peter
4:1), yea, what indignation, yea,
what fear, yea, what vehement
desire, yea, what zeal,
yea, what revenge.(word
'revenge' is more of 'avenge' and comes from the Latin 'vindicate';
once one decides to change, he just wants to right all the previous wrongs)!
In all things you have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.".Romans
8:28.
Through suffering, Emmanuel
learned obedience:.Hebrews
5:8 "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which
he suffered.".That
is, He learned exactly what was the Father's will, that the Father's will
was always in His and others' best interests. He knew this, but now, as
a man on Earth in the body of who was called Emmanuel, He now experienced
it all as a human being:.Matthew
26:39 "And he went a little further and fell on his face and prayed,
saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless
not as I will, but as you will." 1Peter
2:23 "Who, when he was reviled,
reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not, but committed himself
to him that judges righteously.(Romans
12:19)."
We too need to comprehend
the Great Infinite One really is concerned about us individually
and that His concern is for our benefit, ultimately;
although we, going through various trials and tests now, often wonder
why?
When our ways are at odds
with His particular plan for us individually and collectively, God will
often take action on the world scene:.Psalms
99:8 "You answered them, O Lord our God. You were a God that forgave
them, though you took vengeance of their inventions.".From
the original:.'You
answered them God, you forgave them for their works'.
Do we really believe God
is in control? Do we trust Him enough with our lives to be totally
comfortable with this? If not, we will continue to go our own ways and
suffer the hard lessons of life particular
for us.
There really is no other
way apart from comprehension of His way:.John
14:6. But, sometimes it takes a whole life of experiences to come to
see this and other times it takes severe
trials, such as this
logger had to experience. God's way is love for us and God's passion
is us becoming as He is. Applying a growing understanding of that toward
a full overstanding,
benefits relationships
with others.
This is the way out of all
that hurts us:.1Peter
4:1,2.
This suffering of ours contributes
to awakening out of ego sleep, bringing us into a more intimate relationship
with Him, so that we learn lessons in order to be ready to be moved.(Isaiah
58:3-12).from
that
which causes agony; ready to be moved into sincere
caring for others and heading toward a reward
for our good works.
