-Does God change?
I see many changes in the Bible, such as the
difference between the Old and New Testaments, yet Malachi
3:6 says God doesn't change? Also said about Christ:.Hebrews
13:8.
The Creator does change
His mind and/or implement planned changes; examples, wife
of Cain; fed up with ancient Israel, God offers Moses what He had planned
for them:.Numbers
14:11-20.
God listens to us and adjusts
Himself and His plans, so yes, God does change His mind:.Genesis
6:7;
Exodus 4:10-16; 1Samuel
2:30; 2Samuel 24:16; 1Chronicles
21:15;
Isaiah 38:1-17.
The Infinite One we commonly
refer to as God or Creator or Father-God never changes in His love for
His creation and love encompasses
everything:.James
1:17. Behind the Creator of all, also known as the
Word,
is the invisible silent realm
where this Unchangeable One, often called 'the Silence', 'Father-God'
or 'Creator-Father' is found and is found through
meditation.
Physical laws governing all
in the multiverse were set up or programmed
as it were, in a hologram, before
there was anything physical.
Without the hologram, the
created things of
physicality
would not have a framework
to 'fit into' and behave as they do; one example being the
human body as supported by the
causal body or invisible
pattern of that which determines each of us.
Spiritual laws, such as the
law of love, have always been, for God himself is 'Love' and God
is eternal:.1John
4:8,16. If love is in you, you too are eternal.
On other levels of focus,
such as upon events on Earth, there is a seeming.drastic
difference, like between the Creator-God of the Old Testament, known as
'the Word' and the Creator-God of the New Testament, also 'the
Word'. In the Old, it seems like He's all for bloodshed and cruelty
and punishment.
Was
He? And, in the New, all for the things of love.
The Creator, here being the
Word, never changes in overall direction or purpose of carrying
out the plan of salvation for humanity,
for which 'the Word' was created from thought by the
Silence, also called the Creator-Father.
The Creator-Father and 'the
Word', never changes from the basic character
of love which governs the universe and comes from the Silence. This
is,
exemplified
by qualities of kindness, mercy, caring, concern, forgiveness, patience,
etc..
In Mark
10:2-6 of the New Testament, Emmanuel
shows that even back the, in the Old Testament, the Creator adjusted to
man's ways.
'The Word' was created
to eventually become man in order to experience life as it would be in
human form:.Hebrews
4:15 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the
feeling of our infirmities.(original
for 'feeling of our infirmities' is 'compassion for our weaknesses'; the
Creator, the Word is sensitive to what is going on in each of our lives
at all times, even when
we think no one cares), but was
in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.(what
does 'sin' really mean?)."
The Infinite Ones never change
in how things are set up
in the physical to work:.Malachi
3:6. The Creator hides in a sort of
play, so it is up to us to
find the way. Remember the fun you had as a kid playing hide and seek?
Within this framework major
change has occurred such as the
old
covenant to the new covenant, as recorded in the Holy Bible's Old and
New Testament. Other changes
have been recommended by one trained personally by Emmanuel the Christ,
the Word.
The universal laws always
work as they were originally designed to, by the Word, example.
However,
even though there is no change in the eternal laws as contrived
by the Silence and carried out by 'the Word', alterations
are made as life goes along here on Earth. This is because we change
and as we do, this Creator changes, but all within the framework laid down
by what we call the Silence:.Isaiah
38:5-8. And, this because all is one. We are in
God and He is in
us.
The Creator is the
underlying Soul of all, the Soul being created as the intelligent
invisible grid within which all functions as originally set up. Problem
is most people don't know they have.(actually
are).a
spirit connected with it:.Ezekiel
18:4. They know not whether they actually can have a connection in
the
Soul.
What does knowing you can
have a connection with the Soul of all matter anyhow? Without knowing you
can have a connection with the Soul, you have no attention to it. It's
attention
to it that brings forth its capabilities
to affect life for good.
The Creator can be influenced
by our talking to Him.(what
prayer
is and how
it all works):.Genesis
18:22-33; Amos 7:2,5,6.('repent'
here means 'change');
Jonah
3:9,10;
Hezekiah's
example.
The scripture passage in
Genesis
18:20-33 concerns God having decided to destroy Sodom
and Gomorrah.
After listening to Abraham
bargain with Him, God decided to agree with Abraham who bargained in favor
of any righteous persons there who might be destroyed because of God's
decision.
Our Creator does listen and
responds! And He does change His mind depending on what
you
say. Just as any human might also change his mind depending on what
you present:.Luke
18:2-6.
Change also occurs in the
New
Testament regarding prophecies.
In 1Corinthians 13:8 God
says that even prophecies will fail.(original
Greek is 'rendered idle or useless').
Now just why would they fail?.Is
God not able to bring them to pass? Perhaps for the same reason as
in the OT with Abraham, that of some very concerned persons importuning
God to have mercy. After all it is not God's will that even the wicked
perish:.Ezekiel
33:11 ".....I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that
the
wicked turn from his way and live.....".and.2Peter
3:9 "The Lord is.....not willing that any should perish....."
But some teach otherwise:.Jeremiah
5:12-14 "They have belied.(lied
about).the
Lord and said, It is not he, neither shall evil come upon us, neither shall
we see sword nor famine. And the
prophets
shall become wind and the
word is not in them. Thus shall it be done unto them. Wherefore thus
says the Lord God of hosts: Because
you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire and
this people wood and it shall devour them."
Our trust
is never justified if we put it in a man whose prophecies may or may
not come to pass.
The Spirit of God inspires
men to prophecy,
in this case to change their heart and purpose regarding ancient
David.
God
was protecting David:.1Samuel
19:20,21 "And Saul
sent messengers to take David. And when they saw the company of the prophets
prophesying and Samuel
standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers
of Saul and they also prophesied.
And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers and they prophesied
likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time and they prophesied
also."
People feel special if their
church holds high the gift of prophesies
and/or speaking in tongues.
How much more special can you be if Christ
is already in you? But, some people think and feel they are doing something
special when prophesying, that they have the cream of the truth
while others not doing so, have only the skim milk:.1Corinthians
1:12-14. Such are the religious.self-righteous
ones:.Romans
14:4.
Here they feel that the
Holy Spirit is inspiring a special message for the future through the one
giving the prophecy. This is where one member of the congregation or minister
prophesies or predicts what will come for another member or even what's
to come upon the world.
All true spiritual persons
have the Spirit of God and are in an intimate relationship
with God, where God can reveal all He wishes directly. How?
Can a man or woman doubt
whether he or she has joy and peace and happiness? Can a child doubt whether
it loves a parent or a man whether he loves his his partner? Can a man
or woman doubt whether he loves God? Each of us knows his own heart in
such matters. We either do or don't. In such matters, we are sure where
our heart is. Is some other to tell him that he or she must be mistaken
in regard to the existence of these emotions and that it is all delusion
and that some things some supposed prophet with special insight sees that
should be fixed. Such are they who disrupt the faith of others:.Romans
14:4,10,13. Such are they that attempt to instil confusion:.1Corinthians
14:33.
Such are they who seem to
think they are able to enter into the soul of another and pronounce the
man or woman who professes to have these feelings mistaken. How can someone
say to another that all his or her hopes and joys and love and peace, are
delusion
and
fanaticism?
A man or woman who is having
an experience with God is never at the mercy of others with opinions
or arguments to the contrary.
Take Emmanuel's example and
how those back then who felt they were righteous and in their proper place
to castigate
Him for the good He did:.Matthew
12:24 "But when the
Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doesn't cast out devils,
but by Beelzebub
the prince of the devils."
Does God have to use another
human to bring things to someone's mind?.1John
2:27; John 1:16; Ephesians
1:23. Wisdom
in all things is needed:.1Corinthians
2:12.
You.have
the mind of Christ:.1Corinthians
2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct
him.(instruct
who?)? But.we
have the mind of Christ."
