This promise of
no sin in Him is not saying that you are guaranteed never to be in sin
again, but it is like
Abraham,
who is called the."father
of the faithful", where he did many horrible
things, as did David later,
yet both were counted as righteous because of their belief. Belief in God
is always the key to moving from a lower consciousnes, but know this, that
being in a state of forgiveness because one is in God, does not absolve
one from any physical penalties for crimes and/or disobeying civil laws.
This love of God enveloping
an individual in
spite of one's actions is because of being classed
as righteous by belief. So, learn about belief.
Belief is what changed them where the latter end of their lives were so
much better than the early years.
This promise of righteous
by belief is solid for all believing in Him.(Romans
4:16), that is, even if you still
may sin on your way to your reward.
What
is true of us in God's thinking, Rod Stewart sang about in the song.Forever
Young.".....whatever
road you chose, I'm right behind you win or lose.....". Robbie
Williams song Loving Angels Instead, says similarly.
If we hold fast our belief
in Him.(Hebrews
4:14,15;
10:23),
we will continue to be cleansed.(1Corinthians
6:11; Ephesians 5:26),
that is, things will be brought to our attention, things which we can decide
to emphasize
the opposite of, thus
removing them from our characters:.2Corinthians
7:1;
1John 1:9; James
4:8.
John is saying here in 1John
3:4 that if you are into thinking you still are in sin.(after
Christ has taken it away),
you are into law.(not
good), because in your mind you must
be thinking that something apart from Christ's righteousness reigns:.Romans
5:17,21. It's spiritual stuff, so hang in there, will yuh?
James
4:17 "Therefore to him that knows to do good and does it not, to him
it is sin."
Sin is also breaking some
law one deems.necessary
in order to get into and stay in a
relationship with God. And so the individual is goodhearted in wanting
to have a relationship with God, but needs correct knowledge to be in a
spiritual relationship.
What
knowledge is needed?
Today we have spiritually
hungry people looking at the various
diets of.religion,
all having their own set of do's and don'ts, just like they did way back
when in the time of Emmanuel
with the Pharisees
and the Sadducees who were those who doled
out religion to haphazard
seekers lazy enough to trust others with their spiritual life:.Acts
17:11.
Is there still some spiritual
law of sin predominant?.Romans
7:23-25; 2Corinthians 3:11.
We are free from it and, for spiritual persons, that way is dead:.Romans
8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Emmanuel has made
me free from the law of sin and death.".One
cannot transgress what is no longer there:.Romans
4:15.
So religion to survive for
its purposes invented a measuring stick, based on the Mosaic
Law often
emphasizing
the commandments over the only two
rules.Emmanuel
advised which would encompass
all intents to live a life in relationship with God
and humanity, where one is in
alignment with God.
2Corinthians
3:14-17 tells us that if one is still thinking about themselves as
being subject to sin.(which
is, believing in sin), they are out
of the liberty in Christ.
If one is into law regulating
behavior with church doctrines, they will miss this mark, they cannot see
the purpose of it all, as they will not see beyond law to grace
until they believe in and focus upon what Emmanuel
the Christ is really all about:.Romans
13:10.
The purpose of Christ was
in part for His righteousness to be an exchange for the unrighteousness
the law produced. He became sin for us:.2Corinthians
5:21.
Paul in this book of Corinthians
he was responsible for writing, is saying that if you feel that you are
sinning, you obviously believe that there is some standard that you must
be transgressing. Your mind is on law, not on Him.
1John
3:5 is noting Christ came to take away sin.(no
plural in the original).and
that in Him is no sin. This thing called sin which was eradicated by Christ
always had to do with a law of do's and don'ts:.Romans
3:20.
Sin is a knowledge thing,
what you know in your mind and have accepted as true, because sin is not
imputed
where there is no law:.Romans
5:13. Those accepting any law as a form of righteousness when it's
kept are tacitly
in agreement with such law or laws as being necessary to remain in God's
good graces. Thus,
they have accepted the idea of sin being done by them when they think that
they have broken any law they believe is important for their state
of righteousness.
You have all things that
pertain
unto Godliness through having the knowledge of Him.(that
His
nature is in you and He has nothing to
do
with anything not perfect, righteous and pure; it stands to reason that
if Christ is in you then you are regarded as He is).
How can you be less than
perfect if you actively believe in having His nature?.2Peter
1:3,4.
No one still of a mind to
be a murderer.(hate
= murder).has
eternal life because, if Christ's nature is in you and that nature of love
is dominant
in your thinking, you are loving toward others and would never hurt others
in any way, even though they may have been mean toward you:.1John
3:15. Why?
1John
3:10 says that this is the difference between the children
of God and the children
of the devil, which are those of the underside who care at this time
to not know anything regarding the righteousness of Christ. Their focus
rather
is on avoiding offenses which could present themselves in a negative light
causing criticism. Many politicians think similarly,
where their righteousness
in the eyes of others is the main concern. More than the needs of others,
caring for their image predominates
thinking. Such are they who should take a lesson from the
good Samaritan. Those working at covering up evils because of wanting
to be looked up to as being worthy of increased advancement in leadership,
should contrast the great leader Paul's attitude:.Romans
9:3; Philippians 2:4. Selfish
thinking locks spiritual advancement away.
The children of the Infinite
One, those of high consciousness, are different from those of the ego construct.
They are desirous of others to have the advantage as they realize we are
all
the same underneath it all:.1Corinthians
10:24; Philippians 2:21;
Luke
17:33; John 5:30,44; 8:50.
They are not desirous of gain for strictly selfish
reasons.
How many ideas does a man
or woman come up with that will benefit others? How many do you use? Keep
this in mind as you view the policies of governments and corporations that
always give themselves the advantage, yet of course, not appear so on the
surface and most always, it's their advantage at your expense. Shortages
in anyone's life is due to selfishness.
Many peoples' minds.(even
Christians who may not yet fully understand the
hope of their calling).are
on what they are after for the self:.Romans
8:1,4,5,13.
1John
2:1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin
not. And if any man sin,
we have an advocate
with the Father, Emmanuel the Christ the righteous."
1John
1:7 ".....the blood of Emmanuel
the Christ His Son cleanses.(original
Greek is 'has cleansed us', 'made
us clean').us
from all sin." ...even though John realized
that we still do "sin"...
1John
1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth
is not in us.".Our
nature is that of low consciousness from which comes all problems. Spiritual
advancement comes from choosing.
1John
1:9 "If we confess
our sins.(sin
is 'missing the mark', missing the mark of what? Not being in His righteousness
{and that comes from not something you do, but something you are in:.1John
5:7} and
thus not in a relationship with
God).He
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness."
1John
2:29 "If you know that He is righteous, you know that every one that
does.(original
Greek is 'render from within').righteousness
is born of him."
1John
3:7 "Little children, let no man deceive you. He that does.(original
Greek is 'render from within', so focus
on Christ in you knowing that is the truth).righteousness
is righteous, even as He is righteous."
How, many individuals think:
Feeling down begins
with thoughts focusing on problems and/or worries where one sees little
if
any hope.
Often we may be under negative
influences from ancestors deceased many generations ago. There is a
way to deal with this. It will break any pall
of gloom that may be covering you or someone else's life, someone perhaps
that you love dearly.
There is a
way to avoid suicide.
Many think that if they're
smokin'
and drinkin', getting
angry,
feeling
discouraged, harboring resentment.(on
and on our individual lists could augment
this one).etc.,
that we are "in sin".
Paul said when you're in
law and not in Him you're in sin:.Hebrews
7:19. The law that held us in sin is now
abolished. Making
laws
for yourself.(the
'letter' of things).is
unnecessary when you live in righteousness.(the
'spirit' of things:.Romans
2:29;
7:6;
2Corinthians
3:6), a higher form of living where
love expressions and not regulations reign. Believers in Emmanuel the Christ
are in good stance with the Father, held in and by the righteousness of
Emmanuel Christ.
